Winner of a Millennium Award for Conservation from the United Kingdom Civic Trust in year 2000. A pair of Victorian warehouses with elaborately carved Sandstone facades featuring emblems of British colonial trade which include exotic produce from the corners of the globe. Each capital is carved with individual heads representing the five continents, Europe, Africa, America, Asia and Oceania. Restoration involved sending submarine cameras deep into the sleech to check the condition of the tips of the oak piles forming the foundations.
